Figurative and Plein Air Abstractions

for me, life as an artist is rich beyond rewards -
painting is complete abandonment & I am in 'my' world,
& given life through our creator -

my expertise is capturing the emotion from within & purpose without,
with total abandon in acrylics, gel, varnish & penicl in no particular order - but quickly -
employing a very loose brush & speed of execution - a freshness embodied inmy heart -
paint that is malleable - flexible whether thick or thin - washed or dripped with a lively pencil line
that manipulates shape & form, creating richness & energy - while diving deepy to escape
my internal critics, or pesky 'censors', as Julia Cameron refers to - those annoying voices
which tempt me to doubtt & impede the creative flow -
I am obsessed with color & valueu & absolutely adore mixing brilliant hues from all over
the spectrum, I firm brush with lush ebony pencil movements across the canvas.

my exploration of art consists quite simply of figurative applications,
a love of urban & plein air landscapes through the guise abstract expressionism.
